The challenge.
Our client sought a digital transformation for their grocery store. Initially, customers would call the store to place orders for grocery deliveries. However, with the surge in demand for delivery services during COVID, the client wanted a platform that streamlined the process for both customers and their own operations.
Additionally, we developed a dashboard tool that allows admins to easily update website content, including banners, products, discounts, and more, offering a customizable experience.

The solution.
One of the key components of the platform was ensuring effective on-site advertising. We implemented customizable banners and product categories, allowing the grocery store to promote products based on seasonal demand. Additionally, prices were made flexible, with options to set discount pricing for specific sales events.
We implemented features that enabled the grocery store to effortlessly upload and manage their product inventory. This included functionalities such as inventory status updates, multiple pricing options, product image uploads, categorization, barcode management, and active/inactive toggles, providing them with extensive flexibility to manage their large inventory. To further enhance convenience, we also added a bulk item upload feature for streamlined inventory management.
To make it easier for customers to find and purchase products, we added a search functionality and a shopping cart that remembers customer sessions without requiring login. This feature allowed customers to place orders without signing up, which helped increase the conversion rate. Additionally, features like announcements kept customers informed about the latest sales and store inventory updates, while delivery status tracking provided visibility on when to expect their orders.
