Wheel Easy is a platform for customers to book an appointment for mobile auto repair.
Customers can create an account and save their settings for future appointments. When an appointment is booked, customers will received a confirmation email and a calendar invite.
Technicians can create an account and sync their Google Calendar with the booking system. When an appointment is created, it’ll automatically create a Google Calendar event for the technician with the address they have to travel to.

A user-friendly interface enhances the booking experience for the elderly customers that often use Wheel Easy’s services.

The challenge.
Our client had an existing Wix website but faced numerous limitations in customizing the auto repair booking experience. For the client’s business, customers book appointments through the platform, and the technicians travel to the customers’ address to perform auto repair services.
The biggest challenge was to provide an exceptional online booking experience for customers while ensuring the business could optimize operational efficiency. Additionally, it was crucial for both customers and technicians to receive timely reminders and notifications about upcoming appointments, enhancing the overall user experience and service reliability.

The solution.
We implemented a custom calendar logic for technicians to set their weekly availability. The booking calendar was integrated with Google Calendar for automatic event creation, allowing technicians to block off time without signing in, enhancing scheduling efficiency. The calendar was optimized for the EST timezone, including daylight savings adjustments for Canada, improving the online booking system.
To enhance user experience, we added automated scheduling and calendar synchronization features. Customers and technicians received timely booking notifications and appointment reminders, ensuring smooth communication and reducing no-shows.
To streamline the payment process, we integrated Stripe Checkout into the platform. This integration allowed customers to securely pay for their booking appointments online using a variety of payment methods including Apple Pay or Google Pay. Stripe Checkout ensured a seamless and secure transaction experience, providing both the business and customers with reliable payment processing and reducing administrative overhead related to manual payment handling.
